SSHA Board Members & A.R.C.
The SSHA board members volunteer their time to serve our community. These dedicated volunteers are elected and serve 2-year terms. The board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm (except July). SSHA members are invited to attend all meetings. The annual meeting is usually held on the first Sunday after MLK Day in January. We strongly encourage SSHA members to attend the January meeting as the SSHA budget gets discussed and voted on. If you would be interested in serving on the board, just come to a meeting and mention your interest. Or you may consider volunteering an hour or two of time on a special project. We welcome your participation!
SSHA Architectural Review Board (A.R.B.) -- Certain Home Projects Must Be Approved
As part of the deed restrictions in our community, the SSHA Architectural Review Board (A.R.B.) requires that any homeowner who is planning a home project that will affect the exterior appearance or footprint of their home, complete AN APPLICATION, and submit it with plans and color selections (if applicable) for approval by the Board. The types of projects that require approval include:
• CHANGING EXTERIOR PAINT COLOR (house, trim, or door). Click HERE to view the Approved Colors; more colors to be added in the near future.
• DRIVEWAYS OR WALKWAYS (concrete, paver, etc.)
• MAJOR LANDSCAPING PROJECTS
• MAJOR REMODELING PROJECTS (additions, porches, etc.)
• STORAGE SHEDS
Most projects receive approval after review – especially if they enhance/improve your property so that your and your neighbor's property values won't be negatively affected. Please complete the A.R.B. request form (CLICK HERE) and submit by email or print & mail to one of the A.R.B. members listed below.
If you have questions about anything governed by the SSHA, you can attend a monthly meeting, or email one of the officers or directors.
Phone calls or texts between 8am-8pm only please, unless urgent. Thank you!
