SSHA CLUBHOUSE CALENDAR
The SSHA Clubhouse can be rented by SSHA members and the general public –but rental guidelines must be followed. Please check the calendar below to see if your desired event date is open. Then review the rental information below the calendar for steps on how to reserve your event date.
The Clubhouse Calendar shows 3 types of color-coded events:
GREEN - confirmed Clubhouse Rental reservations
PINK - SSHA events - possibly available for rentals - please inquire.
BLUE - Holidays - usually available for rentals unless a GREEN rental reservation is showing
For your safety and comfort, event size is limited to 45 people.
Clubhouse Rental Information
The Clubhouse interior is about 1,450 square feet. It is air-conditioned, has multiple ceiling fans, and has a large kitchen open to the meeting area. New stainless steel kitchen appliances were recently installed. There are two restrooms. The two large patio doors in the room face Lake Howell, and the vertical blinds let in lots of light for daytime events, and darken the room for presentations, if needed. Just steps away is the 20x20 Picnic Pavilion with picnic tables (included with the Clubhouse rental) as well as access to the Children's Playground. With plenty of on-street parking and lovely lake views, the SSHA Clubhouse is an ideal place for your next event.
SSHA Clubhouse Rental Procedures
• If your desired event date on the Event Calendar is available, print the 7-page SSHA Clubhouse Rental Packet (PDF link is above) and complete page 1 (Clubhouse Reservation Form).
• Call or email Clubhouse Manager Debbie Gillard at 407-496-5739 / Debbie_Gillard@sausalitoshores.com
• Submit the completed Reservation form with $100 of the Deposit Fee** to hold your reservation. If your event date is confirmed, you will receive notification by email, text, or phone. Your event is then added to the Event Calendar.
• Double-check the date and details of your event on the Calendar for accuracy.
• Pay balance of Fees*** (Deposit and Rental Fee) at first Walk-Through with Clubhouse Manager.
*Deposits are refundable if all Rental Rules & Guidelines are followed, and a satisfactory Clean-Up & Check List completed by Clubhouse Manager.
**Deposit fee ($100) paid with reservation is forfeited if you cancel the event within 7 days of the event date.
***All Fees to be paid in cash only; no credit cards or checks accepted.
Please note: the Clubhouse Manager (and all SSHA board members) volunteer their time for the management and maintenance of the SSHA Clubhouse, neighborhood and common grounds. Many of the SSHA volunteers hold full-time jobs. We try to return calls within a day, but if you do not get a reply within 72 hours, please try again as we could be out of town. Sausalito Shores Homeowners Association reserves the right to refuse rental of the Clubhouse to anyone.

First check the SSHA calendar. If your desired event date is open, complete and PRINT the SSHA Clubhouse Reservation Form contained in the Rental Packet PDF. Then call Debbie Gillard, Clubhouse Manager, at 407-496-5739. Each rental must have a commpleted Reservation Form.
A portion of the deposit fee ($100) will hold your event day. Debbie will confirm via text or email if your event was accepted; if so,it will be posted on the calendar. You must review your event details on the Clubhouse Rental Calendar online to ensure the date(s) and information have been entered correctly. Please let the Clubhouse Manager know immediately if corrections are needed.
If time is of the essence, you may TEXT or EMAIL your reservation information to Debbie at Debbie_Gillard@sausalitoshores.com or 407-496-5739. Be sure to bring your completed SSHA Clubhouse Reservation Form and cash deposit to the first walk-through.

For the safety and comfort of everyone attending a Clubhouse rental event, the MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IS 45. If the number of persons goes above that number, it will be considered a violation of the rental guidelines and will result in a forfeiture of your deposit. If and when the CDC guidelines get relaxed and the number of Covid cases goes down dramatically, we will relax these safety restrictions.
Rental fee for non-SSHA members is $300 PLUS a $300 refundable deposit.
Rental fee for SSHA member is $100 PLUS a $200 refundable deposit.

Maximum number of persons in the Clubhouse: 45
Deposit is refundable if Clubhouse Rental Rules and Guidelines are followed satisfactorily, and the Clean-Up Checklist is followed satisfactorily. When you sign the rental contract, you are confirming you have read and agree to all rules and deposit procedures, and will complete the Clubhouse cleaning checklist. Rental event time window is between 8:30 am to 11 pm. ALL EVENTS MUST CONCLUDE AT 11 pm, including music. Please be considerate to neighbors who live nearby. You may stay after 11 pm to clean up, but you must do so quietly and must vacate the premises by 12:00 midnight.
Inside the Clubhouse, the rental fee includes use of kitchen, appliances and coffee pot (but not dishes or utensils). Also included are cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet paper and towels, free wi-fi, eight 8-foot rectangular tables, three 4-foot rectangular tables, 70 padded chairs and chair cart, and a utility cart to bring supplies in/out to your vehicle for the event. Outside the clubhouse, the rental fee allows you and your guests access to the gazebo and children's playground. The tennis and basketball courts are NOT included, nor are the boat dock and boat ramp unless the renter is a paid member of the SSHA Boat Club. You and your guests will be allowed access to the property and Clubhouse via the coded walk-in gate, but NOT the drive-in gate.
During your Clubhouse rental, you and your guests may only park outside the fenced area in designated parking areas. There is no parking or unloading allowed inside the fence, even if the gate happens to be open! You may unload any supplies for your event from your vehicle using our utility cart (stored inside the Clubhouse) to help bring in supplies if needed. The same cart can be used to bring supplies to your vehicle after the event.
Pull-in parking is allowed on the Clubhouse side of the street between our driveway and the tennis and basketball courts. Parallel parking is allowed on the street in front of neighbors' homes, but please be courteous and park only on the pavement and not on lawns, and do not block any private driveways, mailboxes (daytime events), or fire hydrants. Double-parking anywhere is not allowed. Most importantly, DO NOT block our driveway outside the drive-in gate in case of fire or other emergency.
If the drive-in gate happens to be opened by a SSHA member before, during or after your event and you or your guests drive inside the gate, your vehicle(s) may be locked inside if not removed before the gate is closed/locked. The Clubhouse Manager does not have a key to let out cars that get locked inside the gate.
