Clubhouse Rental Information
The SSHA Clubhouse is the ideal venue for a birthday party, anniversary party, baby shower, memorial service, or a business meeting! The clubhouse is also available for recurring classes or multi-day events -- please inquire.
• Clubhouse interior is a spacious, open room, approx. 1,450 square feet
• Air-conditioned with multiple ceiling fans
• Kitchen with new stainless stove and refrigerator; plus a large
peninsula/countertop for easy serving
• 8 large rectangular tables, 3 smaller tables, and 70 padded chairs
available to use during your event
• Two restrooms (ladies & gents)
• Recently updated with new vinyl flooring and a neutral gray color
scheme
• Two large patio doors offer views of the picnic Pavilion and Lake
Howell; vertical blinds for light control
• Covered 20x20 picnic pavilion with picnic tables just steps away
• Children's playground (adult supervision recommended)

Clubhouse Rental Procedures

Check the event calendar (above) to see if your desired event date is open. Rental events are for a single day between the hours of 8:30 am and 9:00 pm. Multiple-day or recurring rental events are allowed, but each day's event must occur between the hours of 8:30 am and 9:00 pm.

If your desired event date is available on the Event Calendar, open the SSHA Clubhouse Rental Packet (click blue button above) and: 1) Complete the top section of PAGE 1 on-screen (Clubhouse Rental Reservation Form) 2) Print the entire 7-page document 3) Then CALL Debbie Gillard, Clubhouse Manager at 407-496-5739 to set up a meeting

When you meet with Debbie, bring your cash deposit and your 7-page print-out of the Clubhouse Rental Packet with the top portion of Page One completed. Regarding the DEPOSIT, you may pay $100 of the deposit nowand the balance later – or just pay the entire deposit now: a) Pay $100 cash – the minimun amount required to hold your reservation. This is a portion of the full Security Deposit fee and the balance must be paid before your event date. b) OR just pay the entire Security Deposit amount in cash ($200 Members / $300 Non-Members). Once Debbie receives your partial (or full) Security Deposit amount, she will CONFIRM your event reservation by text, phone (or email), and she will add your event to our Event Calendar. She will also schedule your first Walk-Through at the Clubhouse.

Once your reservation has been confirmed and posted on our Event Calendar, you are responsible for double-checking the date and details of your event for accuracy. Let Debbie know immediately if any corrections are needed.

At your first Walk-Through with Debbie, bring any remaining Security Deposit amount due, PLUS the Rental Fee (cash only). Debbie will review the SSHA Clubhouse Rental Packet pages with you to make sure you understand and agree to follow all the Rental Rules & Guidelines.
Clubhouse Rental PRICING*
SSHA Members: $125 Rental Fee + $200 Security Deposit (refundable**)
Non-Members: $500 Rental Fee + $300 Security Deposit (refundable**)
*Pricing, as shown, is for one event on a single day between 8:30 am and 9:00 pm on that day. Multiple-day or recurring rental event pricing is negotiable and subject to board approval.
**Security Deposits are refundable if all Rental Rules & Guidelines are followed, a satisfactory Clean-Up Check List is reviewed by the Clubhouse Manager, and no damages occurred during your event.
• If you cancel your reservation within 14 days of your event date, you forfeit $100 of your paid Security Deposit
• All Fees are to be paid in cash only; no credit cards or checks are accepted. Posted rental fees and security deposit fees are for one-day events; multiple-day event fees and security deposits are negotiable. Rental fees and security deposit fees are subject to change without notice.
Please note: the Clubhouse Manager (and all SSHA board members) volunteer their time for the management and maintenance of the SSHA Clubhouse, neighborhood, and common grounds. Many of the SSHA volunteers hold full-time jobs. We try to respond to calls and inquiries within a day, but if you do not get a reply within 72 hours, please try again as we could be out of town or otherwise unavailable. The SSHA reserves the right to refuse rental of the Clubhouse to anyone.

All events at the Clubhouse have a maximum 90-person capacity.

How much are HOA dues?Dues are currently $135 per year. The board makes every effort to keep dues and other member costs as low as possible. Compared to other communities in our immediate vicinity it is a great value!

Do I have to attend HOA meetings?No, you are not required to attend meetings, although we would encourage all members to attend, especially if they want to discuss an issue. We strongly encourage members to attend the Annual Member Meeting held the first Sunday after MLK day in January where your vote could have a direct impact on changes in our neighborhood. Members may download/read the meeting minutes after they are transcribed and posted on the Bylaws page.

Where can I find or request the newsletters?We usually post past issues of the SSHA Newsletter HERE on the website. The e-newsletters are emailed if we have your email address on file. Can I access the boat ramp if I live in the Sausalito Condos?Yes, homeowners in the Sausalito Condos have access to the SSHA boat ramp by agreement, and the Sausalito Condo Association is considered one member of the SSHA (and pay an annual fee to use the boat ramp). There may be a small fee for a key to the boat ramp each year; check with your board for more info.

How much does it cost to store my vehicle, RV or boat in the SSHA storage lot?To store your boat, trailer, RV or other vehicle in the SSHA storage lot, you must be a SSHA member in good standing and pay an additional annual fee for that membership amenity. You may pay your membership dues AND the annual storage lot fee together each year. You can view the various combinations of dues/fees on the Pay Dues page.

How do I rent the Clubhouse for an event I'm planning?open. If you don't see any other event or activity on that day, then TEXT or CALL Debbie Gillard, Clubhouse Manager at 407-496-5739. You must then complete the form(s) contained in the Rental Reservation packet, pay a deposit, and agree to all rental terms and conditions.
